This semester has made me more aware of how intentional design really is. I used to get dressed based on mood, but now I think about silhouette and visual impact. For example, when I wear monochrome outfits, I notice how unity makes the look feel elevated and cohesive. If I mix too many shapes or colors, it can feel chaotic. Learning about design principles has helped me understand why certain outfits photograph better than others. Since I’m interested in fashion and work in styling, this awareness feels important. Good design isn’t random it’s structured. Now when I post outfit photos, I’m thinking about composition, balance, and how the viewer’s eye moves through the image.
