I am a senior Fashion Merchandising student and aspiring retail buyer with experience in retail, styling, and brand development. My role as a stylist at Aritzia has strengthened my understanding of consumer behavior and trend driven selling, while my internship in a showroom environment introduced me to the business side of fashion through client relations and order management. These experiences allow me to combine creativity with strategy, preparing me to grow in the buying field and eventually build my own brand.
Career Goal
My ultimate goal is to build a career as a retail buyer, beginning with a Buyer’s Assistant role, then advancing to Assistant Buyer, and eventually becoming a Buyer. I am passionate about understanding consumer behavior, analyzing trends, and making strategic purchasing decisions that drive business success. Along the way, I also plan to develop my own modest fashion brand, Vhora, combining my experience in styling, merchandising, and brand development with my professional buying expertise. This progression will allow me to strengthen my skills in both the creative and business sides of fashion while preparing me for long term leadership in the industry.
